Futsal Referees

The Futsal Premier League is committed to training and developing the gold standard in officiating in the area. All referees are currently licensed US Futsal referees and are required to re-certify every year, regardless of experience. FPL’s referee mentorship program helps train and guide new futsal referees each season.

Futsal Referee Certification

Two National Referee Instructors are hosting local certification courses. FPL is committed to training and educating referees, both new and experienced, through classes, group analysis, one-on-one debriefs and more.

  • Mike Tretick—National Level Referee with more than 30 years experience officiating Futsal
  • Matt Geier—Regional Futsal Referee with more than 20 years experience officiating Futsal

Futsal Referee Registration

In partnership with Alexandria Soccer Association we are hosting two Futsal Referee certification and recertification courses this fall. All courses will take place at Miracle Field in Alexandria. (Candidates only need to attend one date).

Classes:

  • Sunday November 14 | 9-1pm
  • Wednesday November 17 | 6-10pm
  • Select which class you’d like to attend during registration.


Candidates should bring their own chair. Classes will take place outside, please dress appropriately. Tents, and dugouts will be used in case of light rain. Masks and social distancing required. Max of 30 participants per class.
